Working within the Finance Team of Jaeger-LeCoultre based in Geneva, and reporting to the Brand Controlling Director, you are responsible for the financial performance monitoring of the Brand’s worldwide Marketing and Communication activities as well as several of the Brand’s international subsidiaries. As key finance contact-person for the markets and our Marketing, Creative and Design departments, you also liaise on a regular basis with different departments within the Maison both at headquarters (Retail, Procurement, Supply chain) and in the markets (International teams, local commercial marketing and communication teams ). As a true business partner you strongly contribute to the business with value-adding analysis and reporting.

**RESPONSABILITIES**

Performance Measurement
- Develop performance indicators to measure the success of marketing activities (eg. ROI analysis on key events and campaigns, Media and PR investment)
- Benchmark performance vs. other Maisons and internally between markets with a view to spend more efficiently
- Keep track of creation costs (internal and external)
- Analyse costs of POS material, furniture, packaging, sales material
- Measure digital performance and e-commerce

Optimization
- Review and challenge Marketing & Communication procurement
- Support Marketing & Communication departments in the development of cost-effective activities and projects
- Participate in the optimization of purchases and inventories of POS Material

Consolidation and Internal Reporting
- Consolidate and monitor worlwide A&P budgets, spend and commitments
- Prepare monthly reporting on Communication Expenses

HQ Communication Budget management
- Manage Communication Internal Orders at HQ, explain variance and alert on deviations
- Participate in month-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with Internal Control Standards and Group Reporting Guidelines

Budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to the yearly budget process and quarterly forecasts to ensure accurate A&P cost planning
- Analyse variances and formulate explanations and recommendations

Financial analysis of markets and boutiques
- Preparation of monthly management and quarterly retail reporting packs for the top management
- Monitoring of sales, operating expenses, capital expenditure and debtors in the subsisdiaries
- Ad hoc financial analysis

Contribution to financial and cross-company projects
- Force for proposal in continuously improving our reporting tools (format, deliverables adapted to non-financial recipients ).

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Fluency in English and French, any other language is a plus. You fully master Excel and other Office software. Knowledge of Business Object Analyser would be an asset.
- Proactive, reliable and dynamic, you are rigorous in your work. Your discretion and sense of priorities, your analytical skills and ability to synthesize are well recognized. Autonomous, you are a force for proposal in improving processes and tools. Last but not least, your ability to adapt and your excellent interpersonal skills are precious assets to succeed in your tasks.
- You hold a degree in Finance and/or Controlling and have work experience of 5 to 8 years in Controlling within an international organization, ideally operating a Retail network. You have a sound business understanding and are able to interact efficiently with other functions.
