In our **Retirement business Switzerland**, our employees provide comprehensive advice to companies and pension funds in various specialist areas relating to occupational pensions. In **Actuarial Consulting**, our employees advise our clients on the design and financing of their pension funds. This includes, in particular, the actuarial support and development of the pension funds, taking into account the legal and financial framework conditions and the respective customer-specific characteristics.

To support the growth of this innovative team, we are looking for an experienced

**Actuarial Consultant (M/F/d), 80-100%**

The role is based in our Zurich office.

**What can you expect?**

In this role (part-time possible), you will work with colleagues to develop and implement solutions to the challenges faced by leading companies in Switzerland and their pension funds.

This will involve:

- Advising pension funds and companies on the valuation of pension liabilities for financial reporting purposes
- Strategic decision making and risk management
- You will lead actuarial projects and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- You will proactively advise clients on pension fund related issues and identify opportunities to integrate our services with other consulting services offered by WTW
- You will work as part of a team with colleagues to support the realization of these opportunities
- You will actively contribute to marketing and research activities to support the growth of the team

**What are you bringing?**
- You are a highly motivated person who enjoys quantitative modeling and has a relevant education
- You are a trained or partially trained actuary (with a recognized actuarial association) and have 5-10 years of professional experience in the valuation of Swiss pension plans according to Swiss GAAP / FER26 and international accounting standards IFRS and US GAAP. Knowledge in investments and asset-liability models would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a given for you. Good German and English language skills are essential, French language skills are an advantage
- You enjoy working in a team and look forward to collaborating with colleagues and clients from Switzerland and abroad
- You have strong project management skills and good organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
