**Global Event Management Lead **, located in Allschwil, Switzerland.

**Overview**
Are you a self-starter comfortable working independently? As the Global Event Management Lead you will the authority in the design and delivery of high-quality Events and enjoy having overall accountability for leading the logistics and operations of multiple customer engagement related events. You will relish working with a broad range of business partners from Commercial and R&D to deliver engaging high quality customer events. Running multi-level workstreams will be a motivator for you, which coupled with your eye for detail and ownership of delivering on budget, and on time, will ensure your value is shown and recognized
**Further responsibilities and duties are**
- Supervises the organization and execution of business related events - Assigns areas of responsibility, delegates tasks, and stays abreast of the status of each event.
- Plans and implements high level internal & external customer engagement events. Decides theme and builds guest list. Incorporating both in-person and virtual events to optimize the customer engagement experience.
- Participates in the development and implementation of event policies and procedures ensuring they are in line with business policy.
- Establishes and runs departmental and event planning budget. Implementing cost controls as needed.
- Collaborates with relevant departments for assistance with details such as transportation, safety, security, food service and other event related items.
- Negotiates with and contracts with vendors to provide services.
- Coordinates all aspects of Event Management. Including, but not limited to, site selection, contract management, registration/housing, menu planning, room sets, audio visual, transportation, onsite management, budget development and adherence, final bill reconciliation, and meeting close out procedures.
- Designs and effectively applies creative feedback mechanisms to assess impact of events and improve future events.
- Consults with various departments on possible events during business planning process.
**Qualifications**:
- University/Bachelors Degree or vocational equivalent
- 8-10 Years work experience preferred
- Experience running HCP-related events
- Experience leading multiple vendor partnerships
- Demonstrated expertise in ZOOM and other online virtual meeting platforms
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Other languages an advantage
- Travel required up to 25-50%
