- Curtis Westley- Source Group are currently working with an International Finance Organisation as they look to hire a Freelance ServiceNow Architect for a Transformation project that is consolidating service management activities and processes into the ServiceNow platform.

**This is a long Term contract role.**

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical and overall architecture guidance for the ServiceNow platform
- Work closely with the business analyst and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure the design and implementation follows best practices for functional and non-functional requirements
- Periodically review and drive the development team towards standard ServiceNow features vs customizations keeping performance, scalability, and cost impact in mind
- Design, configure and implement complex processes and functionalities to meet business requirements
- Assist integrating ServiceNow with other systems
- Participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
- Maintain and support the existing processes in the ServiceNow platform
- Support data analysis and data migration between legacy and ServiceNow systems
- Coach and assist colleagues who are less experienced with the ServiceNow platform
- Produce technical documentation

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent knowledge of ITSM, ITOM and SPM ServiceNow modules (at least 2 out of these 3 modules)
- Strong architecture and technical design experience.
- Experience defining business and systems design, developing system requirements, and implementing practical business solutions
- Excellent development skills and knowledge, in particular JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong understanding on integrations (protocols, integration of ServiceNow in particular).
- Fluent in English
