The Ligabue Group is a historical player in the Food Service sector and specialised in services for the maritime and energy industry markets. It develops Procurement, Catering and Facility Management services (including various integrated solutions, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance), and operates primarily in the maritime sector, for Cruise Ships, Ferries, Cargo Ships, and in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Construction sectors, on Off Shore platforms and at On Shore fields in remote areas.

**Crewing Manager**:
The Crewing Manager has the overall responsibility for crew planning and operation functions of seafarers, including all manning requirements of each individual vessel and seafarer, all being in compliance with the regulatory requirements, company and customer standards.

The Crewing Manager’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises Crew embarkation and disembarkation operations
Supervise the implementation of Crew department procedures as planned by Manning Operators
Ultimately Responsible for all operations within the Crew Office
Ensuring that the seafarers follow STCW and MLC regulations
Organize crew change in close cooperation with the manning office and local agents
Ensure smooth Clearance for all crew in accordance with advised Port requirements and Company policies
Ensure accurate financial reporting of crew accounting, maintenance of crew systems and payroll
Supervise, train and guide Purser Crew and Crewing Specialist
Prepare the yearly budget and the monthly rolling forecast for each vessel
Ensuring that each vessel is manned with qualified, medically fit, and experienced seafarers
Keep aware of manning developments including the requirements of ILO, Flag Administration, Seamen’s union and representative bodies, shipowners’ unions and employment associations
Initiate the prevention of nonconformance
Follow up of mandatory certificates renewal, medical follow up, pre-assignment / post-assignment briefings
Supervise disciplinary actions, dismissals and on board grievance procedures
Monitor performance of assigned seafarers through an effective appraisal system
Development and recording of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Interacts with Port Authorities and Port Agent in order to share any relevant information and hand out reports and documents (i.e. on board crew list, transfers for crew members..) in accordance with Company procedures
Provide strategic inputs for recruitment requirements in order to ensure coverage of a sustainable crew pool within the assigned fleet
Responsibility for auditing all Maritime partners to ensure the compliance with the Maritime Labour Regulations

Qualifications and Education Requirements
General Degree in Business or Marine related Degree will be an advantage
Minimum 5 years in marine Industry as Crewing Manager
Proficient with MLC and STCW requirements
Preferably with experience in developing and managing crewing budgets
Excellent English skills, written and spoken
Must be willing to travel - 10%
