Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

For our clinical affairs team in EMEA, we are looking to hire a:
**Medical Director, Clinical Development NSCLC**

The **Medical Director, Clinical Development** supports the medical affairs team for Tumor Treating Fields Therapy in the oncology program. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the Clinical Development.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Serve as the medical monitor on one of trials which involves evaluating the safety and efficacy of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields)
- Assist the Senior Medical Director with protocol development, regulatory/ethics committee submissions, study initiation, investigator communication, safety and medical monitoring, data screening and analysis, as well as publication initiatives
- Work with the Senior Medical Director in establishing key opinion leader relationships as well as day-to-day study conduction
- Work closely with the Senior Medical Director and multidisciplinary team in seamless conduction of one or more clinical trials with NovoTTFields Therapy and assist the Senior Medical Director to develop an overall medical strategy
- Work with a multi-functional team to develop solutions for patient skin wellness
- Ensure strict compliance with medical and ethical standards at Novocure

**Your profile**:

- MD or MD/Ph.D. required, with at least 2-5 years of clinical research experience working as an oncologist or in pharmaceutical/biotech companies
- Biopharmaceutical or medical device industry experience is a must
- Understanding of clinical development process, including matrix multidisciplinary team, regulatory submission, and data analysis is required
- Understanding of clinical trial data and knowledge in oncology clinical research
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Good presentation skills with the capability to present to varied audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt easily to changing work environment
- Ability to multitask and triage as needed
- Travel required 50%.
