For our Sales department in Switzerland we are looking for a

**Head of Same Day & Special Services (M/F/d), 100%**

starting as soon as possible or upon agreement.

YOUR TASKS:

- To develop customers together with the Sales Force and drive profitable topline revenue
- These cover - as a minimum
- the Customer Service and operational processes required transports but also the sourcing, managing and developing service partner and customer operations linked to growing and providing quality
- They make sure all support tasks needed for a good working department are taking care of by the relevant departments and are supported by their department when needed
- Develop, roll-out and implement the complete strategy for the department and product in commercial, operational and financial areas in line with the strategy of DHL Express (Switzerland) Ltd. and Same Day & Special Services Europe
- Managing the employees within the department and having a policy in place that leads to a motivated, customer focused, hard-working team

YOUR PROFILE:

- University level of thinking and working
- Proficient in English and at least one country language, ideally German
- At least 10 years of proven experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a people manager role
- Profound knowledge in DHL Same Day & Special Services and DHL Express
- Profound knowledge in MS Office (365)
- Good geographical knowledge
- Sophisticated negotiations skills
- Air-/Road-Freight experience
- Dangerous Goods education
- Strong networking skills and stakeholder management
