The Front Risk & Regulatory Manager (FRRM) is part of the Strategy & Services Department and is the primary point of contact for risk and regulatory topics within the Markets Division.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Ensure consistent and effective implementation of the internal controls framework, including execution of certain key controls
- Coordinate and monitor controls execution and adherence to internal policies
- Manage, maintain, and assess risk & control framework
- Assess impact of changes of bank-wide policies and ensure adjustments are reflected in Market procedures
- Track operational risk incidents and relevant audit issues, and contribute to their timely and sustainable resolution
- Act as the central point of contact for regulatory matters within the Markets Division
- Analyse impact of regulatory developments on Markets business, translate them into requirements, initiate and track implementation within the bank
- Represent the Markets Division in bank-wide committees, projects, and working groups dedicated to risk and regulatory topics
- Closely collaborate with stakeholders within the Markets Division (e.g. Trading / Sales) as well as other Risk Departments, Audit, Legal and Compliance
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Master’s degree or equivalent higher education, preferably in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law
- Further education in financial markets preferred (e.g. CFA, FRM)
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the banking industry, ideally in the financial markets environment
- Solid understanding of banking business, financial products, and processes related to trading, sales, and execution
- Good understanding of and strong interest in regulatory and risk topics,
e.g. MiFID II, AML, Fraud, Cross border
- Data query and/or programming experience is a plus, e.g. SQL, Python
- Diligent, accurate, and reliable personality
- Critical and conceptual thinker with a growth mindset
- Able and willing to take on ownership
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent stakeholder relations skills
- Advanced conflict management / resolution skills
