Animateur/ Animatrice Pour Enfants

The Animateur is in charge of kids between the ages of 2 and 10 years. The responsibilities are to supervise the kids and to organize activities and animations for them during birthday parties (weekends and Wednesday afternoon) and also during our camps (canton vaud school holidays weeks).

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming and monitoring children
- Accompanying and supervising
- Entertaining by leading hands-on sports and creative activities
- Organizing games, workshops and shows
- Ensuring the safety of children
- Being responsible for children’s hygiene and safety
- Ensuring the compliance with health and safety rules of The Kids Club and respecting the material and the areas.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Experience working with young children
- Experience in teaching or practicing a variety of activities
- Responsible and autonomous
- Ability to reassure children and parents
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well under pressure
- Motivated, dynamic, flexible, professional, organized, and creative
- Sports oriented (in order to participate in various sporting and hiking activities arranged for the children)
- Ability to work in a team environment is vital
- Availability in July & August

**Qualification**

CPR & First Aid knowledge or certificate

**Experience**

Experience working in childcare supervision (summer camp, kids activities, parties, )

Early childhood education certificate or similar

**Prior Knowledge**

Fluent English and French compulsory

Salaire : CHF20.00 à CHF26.00 par heure
