Worship Coordinator

Position: Worship Director

Description: A member of the pastoral staff with responsibility for working with staff and volunteers to provide meaningful worship experiences at

Crossroads.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of music and worship, including all support teams (sound, video, presentation, etc.).
- Work with pastoral staff to arrange songs and service outlines for weekly services and other events
- Work with worship team leaders to develop their skills and abilities, empowering others to lead worship
- Lead worship as part of the schedule
- Recruit and develop new members to the worship team (includes providing training for instrumentalists and vocalists)
- Provide spiritual leadership and development for members of the worship team
- Work with sound and video team to provide support and resources as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Able to articulate a vision for heartfelt, God-honoring worship
- Musical training - plays an instrument and reads music
- Experience in leading worship / working in a church setting
- Some theological / bible college training is helpful
- Great human relations skills including listening, motivating, inspiring, decision
- making, etc.
- Administration skills including organization, coordinating, directing, etc.
- Technological proficiency - ability to interact effectively with technical team
- Ability to articulate a theology of worship that is built on biblical principles
- A heart for all cultures and generations and a desire to unite them in worship

Time Commitment: approximately, 40-50%

Reports to: Senior Pastor

Other Items: Fluent in English (spoken and written), German language helpful, international or experience in living outside home culture. Applicants must be able to work in Switzerland with a valid residency.

**Job Type**: 40-60%
Part-time hours: 10-14 per week

**Salary**: CHF25,000.00 - CHF40,000.00 per year
