**Student Assistantship (Web Design)**
**25% **:The English Department of the University of Zurich is searching for a student assistant (starting 1 April 2024, or as soon as possible) with previous experience in digital design and/or web development to reorganize the Department website. We are in the process of overhauling our online presence. A work group has been created to develop a new structure for the website (based on the UZH's corporate design), with the aim of making the website both easier to navigate and easier to maintain. The new student assistant will closely collaborate with the work group and implement the agreed changes by means of the UZH's tools for web design. They will receive a fixed-term, nine-month contract (25%) ending 31 December 2024.

**Your responsibilities**: Our new student assistant will meet regularly with the ES Website work group to agree on the changes to be implemented, and to provide updates on their work in progress. We aim to finalize the draft version of the website in the course of the spring semester 2024, with the ultimate goal of putting it online before the end of the year.

**Place of work**: Englisches Seminar, Plattenstrasse, Zürich, Switzerland

**Start of employment**: Start of employment is 1 April 2024.
