**Job Purpose**
Dynamic navigation and guided surgery are strategic priorities for Straumann, because they offer precise implant placement, improved efficiency, enhanced patient safety, and a predictable restorative workflow. Investing to continually advance these technologies is crucial to spearhead innovation and reinforce Straumann leadership in the dental implant market. The role holder is responsible to drive product innovation from conception to launch as part of our Global Product Management SDIS (Straumann Dental Implant Systems) team. The overall goal is to ensure the development of new products and solutions that will fuel Straumann Dynamic Navigation and Guided Surgery portfolio, to increase the addressable market and gain market shares.
This role requires a thorough understanding of the customer’s workflows, to identify their needs and translate them into new products and solutions. The capability to break down complex challenges into executive steps, collaborate in a matrix environment and motivate and engage stakeholders is crucial.

**Responsibilities**
Strategic Planning
- Conduct in-depth market research, VoC, customer visits to identify customer needs, clinical advancements, and technological trends in the field dynamic navigation and guided surgery for dental implantology.
- Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product development strategies, ensuring that our dynamic navigation systems and guided surgery solutions address the evolving demands of the dental implantology market.

Product Development
- Define product specifications, features, and functionality that meet the specific needs of dental professionals and patients.
- Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to develop state-of-the-art solutions.
- Champion the development and launch process to ensure quality and on time product delivery for launch.

Key Clinical Stakeholders management
- Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, dental professionals, and scientific societies to gain insights into evolving customer needs and clinical practices, ensuring that our dynamic navigation systems and guided surgery solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Continuously involve clinical stakeholders in the conception and testing phase of new products and solutions to ensure product-market fit.
- Collaboration with local organizations and other Straumann Group Business Units
- Provide local organization teams with product knowledge and training and be the go-to person for product and workflows knowledge.
- Plan and support product launch in collaboration with the Growth Lead

**Profile**
- Master degree / academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Min. 3+ years’ experience in product management or related functions, additional sales and marketing experience is of advantage.
- Experience with medical devices is required, experience from the dental industry and understanding of customer workflows within implant rehabilitations, with special focus on the digital ones, is a strong plus.
- Experience with management and development of digital workflows strongly desired
- Self-aware, eager to learn and continuously improve, and with good communication and presentation skills.
- Driven and proactive mindset, demonstrating high energy and a strong ability to take initiative to effectively drive projects and initiatives forward.
- Capability to create effective working relationship with customers and internally, across departments and hierarchical levels within the matrix organization and to lead without hierarchical power.
- Record of success operating in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Embrace and live Straumann culture.
- Willing to travel up to 40%.
- Proficiency in English; other languages advantageous.
