**What you'll do**:
We’ll look to you to oversee the information security including cyber and IT resilience control environment of the Wealth business and lead the delivery of IT risk assessments business-wide, delivering outputs in line with agreed timelines and required quality levels.
You’ll play a key role in helping management identify and assess material IT risks and determine their position relative to agreed appetites, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the function to drive forward the development and delivery of remedial action plans, where identified risks are considered out of appetite.
In addition, you’ll:
- Coordinate technology and cyber policy compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Drive vulnerability management remediation strategy with technology organisation leads and in close collaboration with Digital X Security.
- Provide oversight over internal outsourcing of information and cyber security services and controls, based on established KRI’s.
- Act as Wealth Chief Information Digital Office (WCDIO) escalation point for the centralized Digital X Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) team and provide oversight over IAM controls.
- Own the second level data leakage protection process in WCDIO and support the data protection strategy of Wealth.
- Manage specific aspects of control management reporting, the delivery of risk assessments and risk appetite and the interpretation of regulations and policy.
**The skills you'll need**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll have hands-on experience in information or cyber security and IT resilience with a thorough understanding of IT risks and IT control environments. You’ll also have expertise in risk management methodologies and practical experience of regulatory and operational risk in a technology environment.
Additionally, you’ll have experience of assuring the adequacy and effectiveness of processes and controls, coupled with knowledge of control and process design methods.
You’ll also have:
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of IT service management processes
- The ability to benchmark inherent resilience of technology architecture
- An understanding of the potential issues that could impact customer service
- Knowledge of service delivery and change management processes from a technology perspective
