**Paralegal**

Our client, an innovative and dynamic bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a **Paralegal **for an **12 month contract role **with the possibility of extension** based in Basel, Switzerland.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Paralegal services:_
- Legal support for contracts - 3rd party and intercompany agreements for the client's Swiss Entities, including drafting, reviewing, and proofreading as required.
- Support on various legal documents such as CDAs, PoAs, UBO, confirmations and authorizations, certificates, protocols.
- Maintains respective documentation, including proper organization of files.
- Dealing with and reliable handling of notarization process.
- Proofreading of legal documents.
- Support and execution of special projects.
- Manages the document flow with involved stakeholders and arranges for signature of documents; ensures contract lifecycle management and maintains the contract database including physical & digital archiving system.
- Work processes in own area of responsibility:_
- Supports optimization of current processes and/or introduction of new or modified processes.
- Maintains the overview of timelines and deliverables in all assigned projects.
- Acts as a team member for legal projects.
- Interaction:_
- Informs, communicates, advises, and supports the team and associates from outside the team on processes, guidelines, and services specific to the department.
- Accommodates customers’ specific needs.
- Is a professional partner to people within and outside the department.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A valid working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship is required.
- Paralegal Certificate or Commercial training (e.g., Swiss Association of Commercial Employees, business school) or equivalent (e.g., Swiss Matura plus business experience or Bachelor (preference Legal).
- Experience as a “Paralegal” or „Administrative Specialist“ with paralegal experience or similar.
- Basic legal training (Paralegal course or acquired on the job).
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
