For our Technical and R&D department located in Cortaillod, Switzerland, we are seeking for a

**TECHNICAL MANAGER**

This position will support the current turnaround of the site by improving the competitiveness of our product portfolio and developing innovative products

**Areas of Responsibility**:

- Manage the Engineering service (R&D, Methods, Labs) resources
- Is responsible for the qualification of new products
- Participate to the quality management of the products
- Supervise the mechanical Lab
- Support production in process improvement
- Support collaboration between engineering team and marketing teams to fulfil customer needs
- Contribute to standardization and patent filling processes

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- High technical skills and various experiences in cable industry
- Leadership skills
- Pragmatic and operational approach
- Communication and reporting
- Experiences in measurement methods in production processes and in laboratories methodology
- Fluent in English
