Head of Hq Accounting

Tasks

The Swiss management entity is the groups treasury hub, and together with the French management entity, they are providing services through the different corporate functions, which are recharged among the group. The Head of HQ Accounting is responsible for the bookkeeping of the Group Holding, the Swiss and the French management entity and a local real estate entity. He/she is supported by two employees running the ledgers of specific entities and focusing on dedicated tasks such as Concur and/or interaction with corporate treasury.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- In charge of all accounting tasks, reporting and closing activities for all Swiss and French headquartered entities (Holding, Management and Real Estate).
- Record all P&L and B/S transactions, inter-company and allocations invoices, provisions, IC recharges and periodic adjustments.
- Establish balance sheet reconciliations, maintain backup documentation regarding IFRS and Swiss GAAP compliances.
- Manage the accounting for all treasury transactions in including cash pooling and FX transactions.
- Ensure payments on time, respect cash forecast and project developments and track aging balances of the sub-ledgers.
- Complete and secure the financial data of the statutory reporting, VAT and tax declarations.
- Liaise with Internal and External Auditors during audit ensuring they receive all the audit requests on time, contracts, balance confirmations and explain business activities.
- Analyzing and continuously improve the financial processes within the local organization.
- Identify and standardize long-term accounting procedures in a fast-moving environment.
- Support various projects including the implementation of SAP in the French HQ entity.

**Requirements**:
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Hands-on experience in the field of accounting which you have preferably gathered within a BIG 4 and/or a multinational company.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and Swiss GAAP experience.
- Attention to detail, ability to structure, prioritize work in order to deliver against multiple deadlines.
- Strong competences in Excel and ERP systems (Strong knowledge of SAP is a must have).
- English proficiency (written & verbal). German and/or French (is a big asset).
