The Manager Maintenance Utilities & Metrology manages maintenance utilities and calibration operation. He assures compliance of these activities with cGxP, Health & Safety and with internal policies and procedures.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage maintenance utilities and calibration activities performed upon the site of BMS Boudry according to cGxP requirements.
- Ensure that cGxP requirements, Health, Safety and Environment regulations and procedures are always applied and complied with when carrying out calibration and maintenance utilities activities.
- Management of the calibration and maintenance utilities activities documentation activities includes the authoring of documentation and executing of activities, as well as the supervision of activities and reviewing & approving of documentation.
- Assuring that calibration and maintenance utilities activities are performed on time.
- Define and Follow up the KPI’s for calibration and maintenance utilities activities.
- Follow up the calibration and the maintenance utilities budget.
- Follow up the calibration and the maintenance utilities contract.
- Ensure the smooth communication between internal services and external contractor.
- Ensure that the integrity of the calibration and maintenance utilities data is maintained during their whole lifecycle.
- Define continuous improvements, assist in, and contribute to optimising utilities equipment measuring instrument by participating in the management of associated projects. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement.
- Support activities on utilities equipment, such as maintenance, equipment replacement, modification, installation of new equipment, validation, setting up, troubleshooting etc.
**Skills and Knowledge Required**
- BS in Engineering or Technical discipline.
- 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in technical area.
- Knowledge of international cGxP regulations.
- Good communication skills in English and in French
- Ability to manage a team of direct reports, including experienced engineers, specialists and technicians.
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
- Customer service oriented.
