Bax Digital is an international Group in Switzerland that brings together our independent companies of excellence to develop innovative, creative projects. Bax Digital is opening a new Arcade Center, located in Shoppi Tivoli, Spreitenbach; to launch their in-house game “Serpent’s tail”.
**Job Title: VR Arcade Storekeeper**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Equipment Management**:
- Oversee the setup, calibration, and maintenance of VR equipment, including headsets, motion sensors, and gaming peripherals.
- Ensure all VR stations are operational and well-maintained for optimal gameplay.
- Monitor equipment usage and schedule routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- **Customer Service**:
- Welcome and assist customers with selecting VR experiences and guiding them through the gameplay process.
- Provide instructions on how to use VR equipment safely and effectively.
- Address any technical issues or concerns that arise during gameplay sessions.
- **Safety Compliance**:
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure gaming environment for all patrons.
- Educate customers on proper VR usage etiquette and monitor for any misuse or hazardous behavior.
- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and facilities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- **Collaborations and reporting**
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies to boost arcade attendance.
- Report with respective teams about bugs, customer feedback or other issues.
- participate in business development meetings.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Manage bookings, reservations, and scheduling of VR stations to optimize usage and maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions, including payments and waivers.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking supplies, and ordering new equipment as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality, entertainment, or gaming preferred.
- Strong knowledge of VR technology and gaming platforms, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as arcade attendant, customer service representative, or gaming technician.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in german language and and knowledge of another language ( English, French, Italian) is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
**Working Conditions**:
- Opening hours are from 10:00 till 20:00 on Monday to Saturday. Parttime shifts are possible.
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts to accommodate peak business hours and special events.
