**Your Mission**
You will be a member of the Finance team and drive the provision of financial information, which enables business decisions. You will manage the operative accounting process for our legal entities and independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements according to the local accounting and IFRS regulations. You will also support the team with tax reporting. You will be comfortable reviewing and optimizing processes and will be interested in continuously improving status quo while finding appropriate solutions. You will use your strong analytical skills, holistic understanding of business contexts and proactive approach to contribute both independently and as part of the team. You will report to the Head of External Financial Reporting and be based at our headquarters in Zurich.
**Key Success Criteria**
- 3 - 6 years of existing experience as an in-house Financial Accountant or with a reputable audit/tax firm in an international fast-paced environment with a degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent qualification).
- Good knowledge of IFRS and solid understanding of regulatory standards surrounding corporate finance (German GAAP also beneficial).
- Proven ability to independently prepare and create financial statements and derive meaningful information from raw data to create informative financial reports.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, German language skills would be an advantage.
