**About H55**
As the technological spin-off of Solar Impulse, the first electric airplane to fly around the world, the mission of H55, is to make aviation clean, safe, and affordable.
The company’s strengths and competencies lie in developing propulsion and energy storage solutions which are modular, lightweight, and certifiable.
Having integrated and flown 4 electric airplanes, the Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator. This recent announcement is a further illustration of H55’s position as a major enabler in the electric commuter market.
**About the role**:
In the frame of its innovation activities, H55 is searching for an Electronician to work on the innovation projects.
You will report directly to the Head of Innovation/CTO.
You will be responsible for:
- Design and develop PCBs using appropriate software tools, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment required for testing and analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Perform various tests on electronic systems and components, collect and analyze data, and generate detailed reports.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to assist in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and prototypes.
- Maintain inventory, manage equipment, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory space.
- Provide support in the preparation of test setups, assisting in assembling and configuring hardware for experiments and testing.
- Document procedures, results, and findings accurately to support ongoing projects and future reference.
**Your Profile**:
- Solid hands-on experience (7+ years) in PCB design, testing, and laboratory operations within an electronics-related field.
- Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle) and demonstrated experience in designing and fabricating PCBs.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with laboratory equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Proven ability to conduct tests, collect data, and generate clear and concise reports.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid English knowledge, French is a plus, but not mandatory.
