We are excited to offer this new role to a passionate and proactive Junior IP Paralegal who has a demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse workload, while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues. You will be a team member of the On Legal Team and report on IP matters to the Deputy General Counsel. You will help strengthen On’s IP Portfolio by providing strong support and assistance to our in-house attorneys on trademark, design and patent matters in a diverse range of territories (EMEA, NA, Latin America and Asia). Occasionally, you will also assist the On Legal Team members in other projects. You will have the chance to personally grow with this role.

Your Team:
Working out of Zurich, On’s legal team supports all business units across the globe in their daily endeavours. Our mission is to provide the global organisation with business-oriented advise and therewith helping and enabling On to grow internally and externally.

Your Mission:

- Provide strong support to the team’s attorneys on IP infringement, opposition and cancellation cases, including gathering evidence of use, sales figures, PR and marketing materials, organising internal product testing, etc.
- Collaborate with external provider to take down fraudulent websites, as well as counterfeit products from online marketplaces by submitting documents, giving instructions, etc.
- Create and manage comprehensive internal “IP databases”
- Act as an interface to external IP law firm on administrative tasks (including direct access to IT system), support in budget monitoring and invoices follow-up
- Support other legal projects and team members of the On Legal Team

Your Story:

- 1-3 years’ experience as IP Paralegal acquired in an IP department of a multinational company and/or in the IP department of a law firm handling international IP portfolios
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong organisational and project management skills, great capacity for planning and priority management, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsiveness, initiative, motivated and openness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
