**Lower School Learning Support Teacher - August 2025**

**The Position**

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the area of Special Educational Needs, working with children with a range of learning needs and disabilities across grades K- 6. Experience of working with children with more significant learning needs and with emotional/ behavioural challenges would be an advantage.

**Requirements**:

- A Master’s Degree (or equivalent certification) in Special Education and a valid special education teaching credential
- A commitment to providing high quality education for children with significant challenges
- At least three years experience working in mainstream or special schools with students who have additional significant learning needs
- Experience with common educational assessments for the purpose of assessing student competency levels and/or developing individual learning plans
- Experience delivering a variety of literacy and numeracy interventions
- Confidence with assistive technologies and using 1:1 devices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals in order to support student inclusion
- German language skills would be desirable

Please note that international experience is required for non EU/Swiss applicants.
