**Meteorologist/Geographer | Full Time | USA East Coast**
**Our sales team is growing and we're looking for an enthusiastic new colleague with experience in meteorology**

That’s why, here at Meteomatics, we’re focused on delivering the most accurate weather data and weather intelligence tools to improve our clients’ business. We work with almost all industries, all over the world.
To help build up our US client base, we are looking for a motivated and skilled personality with a strong sense for sales strategies.

Your responsibilities*
- Build up the US market for our products and services
- Build and lead the US sales team and coordinate activities within the team
- Define the sales strategy for the US Market, identifying key vertical market segment and developing a go-to-market strategy
- Develop a US key account strategy along with relevant KPIs and lead the execution of the sales strategy
- Establish strong relationships with external customers and across our business
- Negotiate strategic customer agreements
- Monitor activities across different accounts and ensure appropriate strategies are formulated and communicated to the relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline and take appropriate action
- Be the voice of customer to provide feedback within our organization

**Your qualifications**
- Degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering, preferably with an MBA
- Knowledge of meteorology/ atmospheric science or experience in the distribution of meteorological products
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of process trends and accepted practices in the adoption of meteorological systems and processes in the private sector
- Several years of relevant sales experience
- Strategic selling knowledge: corporate positioning, high level relationship management, value-based selling, large account management
- Contracting knowledge: RFP monitoring, proposal preparation, contract award and execution
- Leadership experience in managing sales teams including technical experts
- Excellent networking skills at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in German
- High willingness to travel
- Hands-on mentality and strong personal integrity
- Strong identification with Meteomatics Brand Identity
