The Cardiac Development and Gene Regulation Laboratory of Marco Osterwalder at the Department for Biomedical Research (DBMR), University of Bern, is offering a 3-year postdoctoral position focused on the establishment of cardiac organoid models and the study of the underlying genomic cis-regulatory networks. This position is based on the project “**HeartX: decoding cardiac regulatory landscapes in an all-human model for cardiogenesis**“ funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) in the framework of the National Research Program 79 (NRP79) to advance the 3Rs.

- Experience in (computational) analysis of genome-wide datasets
- Good communication skills in English, ability to work in a team
- Ability to conduct independent work, efficient organizational skills
