**How you can help**

Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) organization as part of the IMPO Inventory & Costing team.

**The purpose of the role is **to support the Standard Costing and Inventory processes for the Zug and Actelion Sourcing and Schaffhausen manufacturing plants.

In this role you will work in a cross-country virtual team with direct colleagues in Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland and Netherlands, to support day-to-day activities for standard costing and inventory while looking continuously into process improvements. Additional you will be involved in the financial set-up of new products flows.

**Key responsibilities**

This role is a unique opportunity for a young SFA to get insight in both Standard Costing and Inventory processes as this role is supporting two different teams in IMPO Inventory, your key responsibilities will be:

- Collaborate with the I&C Costing team to ensure accurate standard cost pricing (actual and budget) and financial flows for products sourced out of Switzerland.
- Maintain daily standard costing master data and provide business support for the relevant finance approval tools (sIDMA/Pendulum).
- Supporting the financial set-up of new products flows regarding Standard Costing and Inventory.
- While your reporting line will be in the I&C Costing team, you will also support the I&C Inventory team.
- Record and document Inventory destructions.
- Support the preparation activities for the internal and external inventory counts, including large toll-manufacturing stocks.
- Support the gross inventory reconciliations for internal and external manufacturing plants.
- In all your tasks you will ensure compliance with finance accounting policies & internal controls, SOP updates related to Inventory and Standard Costing and support internal/external audit cycles as needed.
- Contribute & influence design of digital transformation solutions (such as TranSCend) related to standard costing set-up and variance calculation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and digital solutions to increase efficiency and play a pro-active and value adding role in the shaping of the cross-country Inventory & Costing team.

- Strong communication skills & influencing skills, customer focus and proactive attitude, and ability to partner effectively with business.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently in an international and hybrid (virtual/on-site) environment; ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance. SAP and standards costing/inventory experience is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, or a related field is required. Master is a pro.
