Scientist - In Vitro Pharmacology

**Job description**:

- Work independently and lead in vitro activities in line with project needs and timelines
- Design, execute and analyze experiments, interpret data from different sources, draw relevant conclusions, and present data to relevant stakeholders internally (project and company level) and externally (conferences, workshops).
- Maintain accurate up-to-date documentation of experiments, protocols, and results in an electronic lab notebook or other technical reporting formats.
- Identify and work with CROs.
- Identify problems and propose solutions.
- Participate in general lab maintenance.
- Contribute to the writing of reports, regulatory and legal (patent) documents, and scientific manuscripts.
- Provide guidance and support to research and technical associates, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.

**Requirements**:
For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated individual bringing along:

- PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology (or a similar discipline) with 2+ years of relevant postdoctoral experience in an academic or pharmaceutical/biotech environment. Prior industry experience is preferred.
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture (cell lines and primary cells).
- Hands-on experience with cell-based assay (e.g. cell binding, reporter cells, immune cell activation, proliferation, cytotoxicity, internalization, and cytokine secretion assays).
- Proficiency in cell biology techniques such as flow cytometry, Luminex/MSD, and IncuCyte.
- Hands-on expertise in advanced/multi-color panel design and analysis in flow cytometry (conventional and/or spectral) is required.
- Knowledge of analysis/statistical software (e.g. GraphPad Prism) is required.
- Background in immunology and/or cancer immunology is preferred.
- Experience with compound profiling is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, flexibility, proactive willingness and desire to engage in the laboratory workflow.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, a creative and solution-oriented mindset, and a deep passion for goal-oriented science.
- Sound oral and written English is a must, with clear scientific writing ability.
