Science Presenter for Kids

Spark Science is dedicated to inspiring curiosity and a love for science among children. We deliver exciting and educational science programs that engage young minds through hands-on experiments and interactive presentations.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver engaging science experiments and workshops tailored to children.
- Explain complex scientific concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity about science in young audiences.
- Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a safe, fun learning environment.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve program content and delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in science, education, or a related field.
- Previous teaching or presentation experience, particularly with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, energetic, and able to engage and inspire young audiences.
- Must have a clear criminal record check.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations as required (Kanton Zürich-Zug-Schwyz).
- Fluent in English and German.

**Desirable**:

- Experience and confidence in leading groups of up to 12 children aged 5-11 years.
- Knowledge of child development and educational techniques.
- First Aid certification is a plus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, 40-60%, 20-40%, Permanent

Pay: CHF1’625.00 - CHF2’426.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
