Arxada Visp, Switzerland is looking for an Evaluation Expert who is responsible for timely and accurate evaluation of new chemical projects in the LSI SCS CDMO department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform technical project evaluations in the area of chemical processes based on customer RFPs and informal requests
- This work includes e.g. customer calls, taking the lead in scoping bodies of work (amount of work needed to execute work packages, deliverables, definition of pre-requisites, cost calculations and assessments, identification of risk, offer strategy,..), converting/preparing the data in the appropriate format
- Ensure complete and current project information is handed over to Process Development and provide support for existing projects when appropriate and requested by project team
- Supports R&D activities in the respective scientific field such as feasibility studies, process development, supervision of experimental work, literature search, etc.
- Supports Commercial Functions/BU and the marketing team as requested at customer visits, conferences, trade shows, contract negotiations, capacity expansion projects and other strategic initiatives
- Assist to develop, maintain and enhance evaluation tools for assigned sites and services (evaluation report, cost models and databases, work stage and proposal templates, KPI collection etc.) in order to drive continuous improvement in the evaluation process and assure consistency

Key Requirements:

- Advanced degree in organic chemistry (Ph.D. in organic chemistry, preferably with several years of relevant industrial experience in process development)
- Significant knowledge of process development and a high technical understanding of chemical processes on industrial level
- Ability to enjoy interdisciplinary work in a multiple stakeholder environment
- Structured way of working and high problem solving ability
- Advanced Project Management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and German complete your profile
