Job Purpose/Background
Are you passionate about servicing clients and exceeding their expectations? In this position you will be able to put all your skills to work and help develop existing relationships and growth of the client book in Switzerland. Our iShares & Wealth Team in Switzerland promotes the full spectrum of BlackRock / iShares products, solutions and services to Wealth and Asset Managers. Our clients are Institutional investors, global and multi-national Banks, Independent Wealth Managers and Advisors.
The position will be based in Geneva as part of the Swiss Sales Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- As a Sales - Relationship Manager, Vice President, you will help building connections with our client groups in Romandie; improve and grow sales across our platform, including ETFs, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Markets and bespoke solutions, in order to deliver aspirational financial results measured by AUM, net new assets and revenue targets.
- Supporting the development and execution of account strategies jointly with the team or account lead.
- Drive the local business development initiatives such as RfPs, roadshows, and new business pitches.
- Handle day to day business flow and deliver service excellence (pre-trade guidance, product comparisons, cost analytics).
- Ensure sales reporting requirements are met, and that all client activities are recorded in the CRM tool.
- Conduct business in full compliance with audit and legal requirements specific to the area, in line with best practices.
- Collaboration and information sharing with other iShares & Wealth sales teams globally.
- Contribute to the delivery of annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, roadshows and virtually.
- Lead road shows, events & seminars in partnership with Marketing & Event Management team
Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in role with exposure to relevant financial content
- In-depth knowledge about financial products and especially Mutual Funds and ETFs - preferably with validated experience in selling investment products to sophisticated investors and handling client relationships.
- Thorough understanding of capital markets and the Swiss Wealth Management landscape specifically. Existing network is a plus.
- Ability to take account ownership and strategically develop relationships; position investment ideas and other valuable services generating sales and net new assets.
- Outgoing nature who puts client-interest first and loves to work in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment.
Skills / Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or equivalent.
- CFA, CIIA and/or CAIA would be of advantage but not preconditioned.
- Shown ability to handle complex projects involving different business groups and to drive the business in implementing solutions across the broad range of BlackRock products and services.
- Strong sales acumen and proactiveness.
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Extensive experience in MS Office suite, Bloomberg is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (German is considered a plus).
- Outstanding communicator with strong influencing skills together with an ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
