Information Security Architect

Oliver James are currently partnered with a leading financial services company located in Zurich, Switzerland to recruit an Information Security Architect. This is a very exciting role within one of Switzerland's Best Workplaces.
Acting as the sole person responsible for the architecture security, you will have the opportunity to genuinely own the security function. You are able to shape strategy and implement your artistic license.
In your role as a Security Architect:
- Define the company's information security strategy and policies in collaboration with the CISO, IT Security teams, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Create and maintain security technology road maps that are in line with the business strategy.
- Transform corporate requirements, practises, and processes into blueprints, architectures, and designs, taking into account governance and information security policies and standards, so that appropriate solutions can be delivered.
- Ensure information security is reflected into architecture designs in order to guarantee business security architecture, performance management and security process architecture.
- Analyse the potential impact on the enterprise and on the attainment of scheduled targets by identifying implementation risks and information security threats.
- Enjoy forming teams to deliver high-quality services and talent development, with a focus on enabling change through digital and agile techniques.My client is needing a senior personality with broad information security understanding as well as a hands-on, can-do mindset, because he or she will need to continuously enhance the information security strategy as well as support the implementation within projects. This needs to be done in close collaboration with CISO and the security operation team. Knowledge about cloud platforms in particular Azure is a major plus because they will migrate to O365 within the next 2 years.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related domain
- 5+ years on the ground experience in information security architecture and according to solution design
- Proven, multi-year track record as enterprise architect or complex solution architect
- Experience with cloud security architectures, with respect to M365, Azure and AWS
- Experience in the Swiss economic environment is desired, experience in financial industry is a plus
- Self-motivated and self-driven personality with analytical and problem-solving competence
- Strong desire to combine economic, strategic and technical interests in a pragmatic solution
- Presentation, facilitation and organisational skills
**Fluent in English and fluency in German is a plus**
