**Responsibilities**:
To support our growth in French Part of Switzerland, we are looking for a:
**Avionics AIT Technician - Space (H/F)**

**Mission**:
Based in Lausanne, you will be responsible for conducting electrical tests and validating the avionics portion of telecommunication and Earth observation satellites.

You’ll be required to perform the following tasks:

- Installation and validation of test equipment,
- Execution of test procedures,
- Conducting tests in complex environments: thermal vacuum, vibration, anechoic chamber,
- First-level troubleshooting on test benches and tools,
- Calling on defined technical support (electrical contacts) when the nominal sequence of electrical operations cannot be followed,
- Disconnecting, removing and storing test equipment,
- Classifying and archiving documentation,
- Saving test and measurement results,
- Accompanying the satellite to the launch site (Kourou, Baikonour, Florida, India...).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent education required. Electrical or related field of study in Electrical degree is a plus,
- 5+ years minimum experience in an AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) environment
- You have a background in:

- Electronics and electrical engineering,
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques,
- Conducting tests and experiments,
- Experience with microwave frequencies and/or UNIX/LINUX-based computer networks in a space environment would be advantageous,
- A solid understanding of test equipment and test benches is highly desirable,
- You are autonomous, rigorous, and possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills,
- You have strong writing abilities and enjoy working in a team,
- Your initiative and ability to propose new ideas will be invaluable assets,
- You are agile and versatile in the tasks you will be assigned,
- You have strong analysis, synthesis and adaptation skills,
- You speak English fluently
