I am currently working with a major aviation business with a central office located in Zurich who are searching for a Lead Network Engineer to take over the Network operations for the business as well as lead a team of 5-7 people. In this role, you will be working hands on to manage the existing Network infrastructure where you will support with LAN, WLAN, routing, telephony, VPN and firewalls. In addition to this, you will be responsible for managing the existing network architecture, helping to define it with the senior architects and upper management.

From a managerial standpoint, you will be taking charge of a team of 5-7 network engineers, responsible for mentoring and developing them as individuals, setting the on call routers, defining technical objectives for the team, conducting interviews and having decision making power over internal and external hiring.

For this role you will need:

- Previous experience as a Lead Network Engineer / Manager with prior direct reports
- Experience maintaining and deploying Network infrastructure and security with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba or McAfee products
- Prior experience monitoring WLAN, LAN, Firewalls, Switches and routers whilst leading a team
- Experience with defining network architecture (as an architect or as a lead / manager)
- Experience working on call
