Operator Peptide Manufacturing

Mandated by one of our client companies, we are currently looking for a Quality Control technician.

**General information**:
Start date: ASAP

Contract duration: 1 year with possibility of extension

Location: Aesch

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Order entry of manufacturing batches in the ERP system and printing of the manufacturing records o Workplace preparation for upcoming work
- o Peptide synthesis according to the approved manufacturing protocols and complete documentation of the work performed
- Perform in-process analysis according to the manufacturing protocol and discuss results with supervisors o Carry out regular checks of operating equipment (pH meter, scales, etc.) and document in the logbook o Draw up departmental SOPs in consultation with the head of department. o Assist in carrying out the annual departmental inventory.
- Quality o Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace.
- Adherence to relevant regulations
- Perform work in accordance with applicable SHE guidelines. o Check the equipment and safety devices before starting work (e.g. condition of cables, correct earthing of solvent vessels, etc.).
- Acts in a manner that considers the least risk to self and others. o Applies/follows the "Life Saving Rules o Contributes to improving work safety by reporting near misses and incidents, including spills.

**Requirements**:

- required education and knowledge: Training as a chemical laboratory technician or B.Sc. in chemistry.
- sound and proven knowledge of organic synthesis techniques
- practical synthesis skills
- good technical understanding and planning skills
- previous knowledge in peptide chemistry is an advantage
- **knowledge of German is mandatory** and English is an advantage
- Swiss and/or EU nationality and/or an existing and valid work permit for Switzeralnd
