**Purpose of Activity/Assignment**

The consultant will be responsible for the development of a workshop package & training materials for regional interagency AAP focal points, and deliver 3 regional trainings.

**Scope of work**

**_ The objectives are to:_**
- Strengthen capacity and coordination between focal points;
- Build common practice and understanding of Collective AAP; and
- Accelerate uptake of the IASC package of tools and resources.

The consultancy will entail a certain amount of preparatory work, during which s/he will interact with members of the IASC Task Force 2, UNICEF, IFRC and OCHA. S/he will work closely with them to tailor the workshop training materials including with the Taskforce 2 outputs - the revised Collective AAP Framework, the Results Tracker, the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism tools and the Leadership Training package.

The consultant will deliver up to three (3) workshops in regional settings (Panama, Dakar, and Nairobi).

Through exercises, case study, scenarios, peer-based action learning, by the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

- Explain what (collective) AAP is, and why it matters.
- Articulate the key objectives and practices of collective AAP.
- Describe the main commitments and standards on (collective) AAP.
- Identify the key enablers for collective AAP.
- Advocate for the use of the IASC Collective AAP package of tools and resources.
- Be supported by a consolidated network of peers and collaborators.

**_The expected outputs comprise two (2) deliverables:_**
- A 2-day workshop training package as outlined above, with the necessary materials (handouts, slide decks) and a facilitation guidance document.
- M&E tools e.g. a baseline survey and an end of training participant evaluation

**_To achieve the expected outputs the consultant will need to deliver on the following elements:_**
- Provide guidance and expert advice on the most effective methodological approach for each agenda item / module to be covered during the training.
- Finalizing the illustrative suggested table of contents in detail.
- Prepare a pre-delivery package or reading addressing key thematic areas for participants if necessary.

**Consultant’s Work Place and Official Travel**

The Consultant will be remote/home-based.

As part of this assignment, three (3) international travels - to Panama, Dakar, and Nairobi - are foreseen. The consultant will arrange her/his travel as and when they take place, and related costs will be reimbursed per UNICEF travel policy.

- All UNICEF rules and regulations related to travel of Consultants apply.
- All travels shall be undertaken only upon the prior written approval by UNICEF.
- The consultant must be fit to travel, be in a possession of the valid UN BSAFE certificate, obligatory inoculation(s) and have a valid own travel/medical insurance and an immunization/vaccination card.

**Estimated Cost of the Consultancy & Payment Schedule**

Payment of professional fees will be based on submission of an invoice and satisfactory completion of the above-mentioned deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment in case the deliverables submitted are not up to the required standard or in case of delays in submitting the deliverables on the part of the consultant.
