**Director R&D Trauma in Zuchwil**

**(Permanent)**

**Overview**

Responsible for the commercialization of products specific to the Trauma division of the Company. Working within the context of a rapidly changing environment, provide leadership and guidance to a large number of product managers and engineers charged with bring new products to market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the process by which new ideas are converted into market-released products that are commercially successful.
- Coordinate the development and mentoring of development staff, while providing overall leadership and guidance throughout the organization.
- Foster an environment of accountability and results orientation within the context of technologically driven corporate values.
- Work with a matrix organization to provide insight and ideas into the general business of the division and company.
- Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.
- Promote and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and compliance, and actively support our compliance program related initiatives and activities.
- Consistently enforce employee compliance, including attendance at training programs, and promptly report any non-compliance to the Chief Compliance Officer.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or engineering field or a Bachelor’s degree in marketing with combined working experience.
- Must be an experienced and energetic leader with a proven track record of leadership and effective management in marketing and product development setting.
- Experience within the medical device area is a requirement, with knowledge of or experience with the regulated environment surrounding the implantable device market a must.
- This individual will ideally have a minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience with multiple direct reports, and a proven track record of hiring and developing a talent pool.
- Must have an ability to manage to specific deadlines as dictated by a highly competitive marketplace.
- Drive, tenacity, and outstanding interpersonal skills within the context of high degree of professional and personal integrity are essential.
- Languages: German & English (fluent).
