**BACKGROUND**

To further strengthen the efficiency of Richemont Group Legal, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and assistance to various Maisons and entities of the Richemont Group.

We believe in facilitating transactions and projects in a way that minimise intrusiveness in what our Maisons believe is the optimal outcome. Your work will be structured accordingly always considering the potential risks involved for the Maison and the Group.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Each of the areas of responsibility will involve a variety of different challenges requiring the person to be both flexible and adaptable whilst demonstrating gravitas in their dealings with internal and external counterparties.

Reporting directly to the Head Counsel for these specific Maisons, this role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Provide timely and results oriented legal advice and support on various matters to teams of the Richemont Maisons.
- Respond to ad hoc legal related queries from teams of the Richemont Maisons and provide appropriate legal solutions.
- Negotiate, review, comment on and draft several legal and commercial documents, including manufacturing, distribution, franchise, license, sponsoring and consultancy contracts with third parties, including based on templates.
- Work in close cooperation with counterparts and managers of companies of the Group as well as external service providers. in particular lawyers, in respect of general legal concerns and tasks such as digital filing and managing invoices.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Solid grasp of the principles of law and an ability to adapt work quickly dealing with different tasks.
- Open-minded, agile, interested in and at ease with interacting with people with various backgrounds, willing to ask for and share feedback.
- Result and business oriented, open-minded, excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work in close cooperation with others - both internal and external lawyers and non-lawyer colleagues.
- Excellent drafting skills.
- Digitally savvy.
- Articulate proposals clearly.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Law Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in providing legal advice (private practice and/or in-house experience), ideally in an international environment.
- Experience will include commercial / contract law. Proven drafting skills is important.
- Experience in the management of small projects will be highly valued.
- Fluent in both English & French. Other languages are an asset.
- Good command of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel). Experience with legal tech solutions is a big plus.
