We are constantly expanding our market position with a future-oriented international business strategy. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person to strengthen our Engineering team in Aesch and Liesberg as

**Head of Engineering 100 % (m/w/d)**

In this role, you are reporting directly to our Site Head. Your main mission is to ensure, coordinate and organize all engineering activities at both Sites

**Main Tasks**:

- Lead and Coach direct reports and enable them to fulfil their tasks within their Teams and functional responsibilities
- Disciplinary and functional management of the whole Engineering Team (40 employee) including budget responsibility and year end processes
- Responsible for bulk and packaging equipment investments as well as infrastructure facilities including feasibility studies, qualification activities and concept studies
- Develop and put into action a Site Master Plan
- Overall responsibility for CAPEX projects including budget and timelines
- Experience in planning and executing a Site Consolidation

**Your Profile**:

- Master degree in relevant field such as Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant other qualification gained in a previous role
- At least 8 years of experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment
- Strong Leadership skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to lead within a matrix organization
- Proven and strong negotiation, communication, project management and influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging, demanding and fast changing environment.
- High resistance to pressure and the capability to handle short timelines and complexity
- German mother tongue, fluent in English both written and spoken, French as an asset
