Logistics Operator

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading software development & testing services company that is looking to recruit a **German-speaking Logistic Operator to join their team in Bern.**

Position: Logistic Operator

Location: Bern, Switzerland

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Secure the delivery of materials for production line in a timely manner
- Monitor all the equipment to ensure that is up to standards and fully installed
- Monitor and review logístical documents such as BoM, etc.
- Provide support to the company and the administration of its suppliers
- Plan and organise the logistics for the successful roll-out of our internal project
- Contribute to the establishment of an MKZ
- Set-up long term goals for project & its production cycle as well as ensure that the production line delivers on time
- Collaborate with material suppliers & ensure the logistics for each delivery
- Liaise effectively and transparently with all involved parties
- Plan out the material situation and ensure that all orders are completed and delivered to supply line with no delays
- Keep all parties informed in case delivery schedule changes etc.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Native/fluent in German (C1) (ideally Swiss German), both verbally and written.
- Fluency in English (C1)
- Proven experience in Material Management as well as equipment manufacturing and production is essential
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics, Production Line and Material Management
- Previous experience working with Multi-Vendor Internal Suppliers.
- Excellent time management & organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- **Ability to work full-time and flexibility to commute to/from Bern to Thun**.
