Business Development Advisor

We are looking for a Business Development Advisor (Parts, Accessories & Apparel) who will report directly to the PA&A EMEA Manager, and who’ll be developing the PA&A annual strategic action plan in collaborations with different stakeholders. **YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Regional Action Plan Advisor (60%)
- EMEA Retail Strategic Action Plan Accessories & Apparel (25%)
- Development of the Accessory & Apparel annual strategic action plan in close collaboration with product advisor, commercial, marketing, planning and finance teams.
- Prepare the needed insights and be the team’s voice in monthly retail action plan reviews, this is the platform to exchange align and approve our PAA promotional plans.
- Follow up and prepare for Sales and Operation Planning and Sales and Operation Execution meetings to drive the action plan focus.
- Create the needed governance with Field PA&A teams to stay connected to market reality.
- Parts / Accessories and Apparel Business Development (20%)
- Support the buildup of the regional / country action plans within the Regional Action Plan process. (RAP)
- Monitor Key performance indicators linked to action plan, update these in monthly business reviews and organize touchpoints with the Country Managers.
- Advise on the critical business vectors from PAA perspective during Commercial Regional Meetings.
- EMEA Retail Operations A&A (15%)
- Work closely with Unit retail Operations and planning team to align the PAA Action plan vs unit Retail Action Plan.
- Ensure Key performance indicators follow up and communication of approved Action plans.
- Coordinate development of tools supporting our Retail Action Plans results follow up for internal stakeholders and network.
Commercial Strategy / Policy Development Advisor (35%)
- Commercial Strategy development EMEA (20%)
- Collaborate with global and local key stakeholders allowing determination of commercial policy strategy.
- Coordinate the commercial strategy for Parts and lubricants business.
- Ensure Accessory and Apparel commercial policy business strategy.
- Determine the changes for the commercial policy reward system.
- Ensure high focus vectors linked to novelty introductions within the commercial strategy.
- Commercial Policy deployment (15%)
- Map out annual Commercial policy process and approval gate stages.
- Collaborate with PA&A Manager / Directors, Regional Sales, and Finance teams to align on criteria of the commercial policies for different product lines.
- Prepare commercial policy in alignment with EMEA finance team followed by presenting for approval.
- Ensure tracking tools are build following commercial policy KPI’s for network and BRP stakeholders.
PA&A Planning Coordination (5%)
- Coordinate the creation of the PAA annual Master Calendar for EMEA region focus on financial, shopping cart, retail promotions, product launch, training
- Create the master calendar tool and ensure proper input.
- Manage follow up from different local and global stakeholders to ensure the calendar stays up to date.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in business advisor, commercial role
- Bachelor / master’s degree or equivalent 7 years plus of experience
- You will need to be analytical in your approach with the ability to determine strategic directions.
- Understanding of commercial strategy and drivers
- Excellent knowledge of excel, SQL.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, powerBI.
- Good understanding of B2B sales processes
- Basic financial skills
- Ability to transfer data into strategy.
- Language requirements English, French, other language is a plus.
- International business experience within EMEA region is a plus.
- Experience of working in matrix organization is a plus.
