**Technical Responsibilities**
- Operates and coordinate Materials Management, including processes of incoming goods, store of materials, control the issues of goods to other departments, process outgoing goods, control correct shipping of goods and products and monitor these shipments, ensure cGMP storage and flow of raw materials, co-operate in other logistics activities;
- Manages effectively the Warehouse and Logistics team, including: ensuring that all the work carried out complies with departmental and BU procedures, and GMP requirements and policies. Ensuring that all working practices are safe. Ensuring that personnel is adequately trained and training requirements are reviewed on a regular basis. Give input concerning career development and training plan. Planning utilization of resources. Cooperate in managing and coaching of the W&L staff. Give input concerning yearly appraisal of direct reports;
- responsible for inventory and transactional accuracy;
- responsible for correct storage of chemicals classes, and temperature controlled materials;
- reports KPIs and manages core processes to achieve target response times;
- ensures effective planning execution in the shipment area to avoid congestion;
- responsible for management of all mechanical devices / handling equipment assigned to Warehouse & Logistics;
- responsible for correct, complete timely and consistent administration of all materials movement related processes;
- ensures reliable, safe, calibrated, validated and sufficient equipment for the Warehouse and Logistics department availability;
- responsible for identification and escalation of goods non conformities for deviation management and/or issuance of formal complaints;
- carry out and manage assigned projects and support site projects as required;
- responsible for compliance regarding Warehousing and Logistics: GMP documentation maintenance, deviation opening and investigations execution, change control action execution, internal and external audits and quality complaints returns.

- Ensures implementation of and adherence to current GMP rules, Quality policies, procedures and instructions for his/her area of responsibility.
- Ensures contribution of his/her organizational unit to continuous quality improvement initiatives and deviation reporting and follow-up.
**EHSS**
- Ensures implementation of and adherence to EHSS legal requirements, rules, policies, procedures and instructions for his/her area of responsibility.
- Ensures contribution of his/her organizational unit to EHSS initiatives and issues as well as near miss reporting and follow-up.

**Position Qualifications**
**Education**
- College/Technical school diploma in logistics or Material management or related discipline.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
- Computer literacy (ERP/SAP, MRP, MS Package)
**Experience & Competencies**
- Minimum 2 years in warehouse operations linked to manufacturing activities, ideally pharma. Would consider other industries such as Food&Beverage, semi-conductors, electronics, automotive where product control and traceability is a requirement; cold chain experience would be beneficial; Education equivalency may be assessed as an alternative to less field experience;
- Appropriate professional qualification would be beneficial (e.g., ASCM CPIM);
- ability to coach and develop staff as well as technical ability to coordinate departmental business activities;
- proficiency in english language;
- decision making capabilities;
- must be well organized and able to work independently with mínimal supervision;
- detail oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks;
- good interpersonal and communication skills.
**Additional Requirements**
- Experience in equipment qualification / validation would be beneficial
