**Your field of responsibility**

We are offering a versatile, challenging and exciting position as Legal Counsel within the General Counsel Division at the attractive location of Geneva. In this role you are supporting the Swiss Private and Corporate banking as well as the cross-border private banking business of Credit Suisse’s International Wealth Management (IWM) Division covering a broad range of legal and regulatory matters, including, but not limited to,
- providing legal advice to Relationship Managers, Senior Executives and Credit Risk Officers both within the day-to-day business and for complex transactions;
- drafting and reviewing standard and tailor-made transaction documents and assuming responsibility for standard templates of contracts and forms;
- procuring and analyzing legal opinions;
- reviewing client complaints; and
- leading settlement discussions with external lawyers.

**Your future colleagues**:
You will be working in a dynamic and Swiss and international environment in an upbeat team in Geneva and will have regular contacts with colleagues in Swiss and foreign locations. Close cooperation with various internal departments, external counsels and advisors, both in and outside Switzerland, will enable you to build a strong professional network.

This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

**Your skills and experience**

Besides having gained your law degree (MLaws / lic. iur.) and being admitted to the bar in Switzerland, your profile also includes:

- Work experience in the financial markets industry, in an international law firm or with a supervisory authority
- Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written French and English; knowledge of further languages such as German, Italian or Spanish is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills which enable you to identify quickly the clients’ needs and to develop solutions
- Your willingness to outperform, being assertive, able to work independently but still enjoy working in a Swiss and international and interdisciplinary team environment
- Excellent social and communication skills which enable you to build within a large enterprise effortlessly a solid and effective professional network
