Zurich, Schweiz Takeda Pharmaceutical Vollzeit

**About** the role**

The Master Planner has the global planning responsibility of the entire supply chain (end-to-end [E2E] view) for highly complex product groups by collection, aggregation and propagation of demand, supply, inventory and capacity data.

S/he creates an accurate E2E master production schedule (MPS) as well as develops appropriate different scenarios for the assigned product portfolio thereby coordinating the production, allocation and distribution of commercial and/or clinical products from the manufacturing site(s) to the regions/countries.

The Master Planner’s responsibility will cover on-time-supply & customer service levels, inventory strategy & management, cost optimization and all other supply chain related activities from Working Cell Bank to Final Drug Product (FDP) to ensure GxP and regulatory compliant product is available for patients. This ultimately enables Takeda to have a robust replenishment strategy while balancing site efficiency and costs, CMO spend, patient requirements and the financial and other objectives of the OpU and company.

S/he needs to understand and communicate the impact of supply plan and forecast deviations, employ effective issue resolution as well as determine and recommend the best course of action.

The Master Planner conveys and aligns the supply plans with the different stakeholders including being the primary Supply Planning representative in the cross functional Product team (PT). S/he will contribute to overall Life Cycle Management including Long Range planning, Launch, pruning and involved with activities and projects aimed at improving the overall Takeda Supply Chain.

- Develops content and scenarios for the required governance including S&OP, GSRM etc. to properly communicate and resolve issues with the plan, review performance and gain endorsed decisions on tradeoff situations and changes to DS/DP production plans
- Ensures that inventory levels for all production stages between WCB to FDP are on target, and this ultimately supports customer service levels for Finished Drug Product while optimizing the cost of product (COGS)
- Monitors inventory status and takes corrective actions to minimize slow moving inventory highlighting potential inventory shortages/excess and taking steps to mitigate writeoffs
- Drives appropriate communication and escalation for supply issues through the relevant governance and processes
- Ensures ERP system planning parameters and master data are maintained to enable accurate Master plans to be generated.
- Interfaces with supply planners / production planners, including the required usage of systems and processes to ensure execution of the MPS
- Supports usage and improvement of globally harmonized planning processes and systems

**Project related activities**
- Steer the lifecycle management of the portfolio in including participating in projects to ensure long term market supply, lead launch management and geographic expansion activities as well as execute the appropriate rationalization
- Provide long range capacity planning (LRCP) insights, drive network design decisions, point of contact in case of site/network capacity requests to support expansions

- Participates and supports the planning required for qualification / validation batches and tech transfers.
- Works with Regulatory teams to identify supply bottlenecks and maps out solutions to resolve supply constraints in the future.
- Assess network change requests against regulatory prioritization to ensure supply continuity and highlight constraints in case of conflicting priorities and review site specific project plans from network and market perspective
