We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn and work for an innovative, fast-paced and internationally growing organization. In your role as Intern Single-Use Technologies you support the harmonization project for Single-Use Assemblies and filters in the Lonza network. You will be at the center of Lonza’s Global Group Operations team and gain a broad perspective of the concept of standardization and implementation of Single-Use Technologies at the Lonza sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the harmonization project of Single-Use Assemblies and filters; review vendors’ design drawings and supporting documentation; communicate with suppliers in case of follow-up questions
- Analyze Single-Use Assembly (SUA) designs and compare with the Lonza Standard SUA catalogue
- Transfer vendors’ design drawings to the Lonza Standard format (Visio)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement & simplification. Drive “share & reapply” of best practices
- Prepare reporting (collection of information, data analysis, graphical visualization, follow-up actions)
- Cooperate closely with business partners from other corporate functions or stakeholders in several areas in a collaborative setting
- Support the project's Lead Team Members for ad hoc requests
Key requirements:
- Ability to prioritize projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones
- Self-motivated and strong organizational skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Great Excel and Visio skills
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines; Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing a change in work tasks and when communicating and collaborating with stakeholders
- Open to execute administrative tasks
