General Description:
BeiGene is a rapidly growing, global, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative molecularly targeted and immuno-oncology drugs for the treatment of cancer.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a thriving bio-pharmaceutical company working across a broad spectrum of the company providing multifaceted operational, commercial, and health compliance legal advice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise business partners on various commercial and medical initiatives in a way that advances the company’s strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting the company’s integrity and reputation.
- Provide legal advice and counsel on advertising and promotion strategies and activities, including: the use of social media; dissemination of scientific information; product liability; and, other matters relevant to the commercialization of prescription drugs.
- Draft, negotiate and manage a high volume and wide variety of contracts, including confidentiality, consulting, services, research, supply, material transfer agreements, distribution and clinical trial agreements.
- Provide practical, solution-oriented legal support to BeiGene internal clients during contract preparation and negotiation.
- Develop and update contract templates, training materials, and relevant portions of the Legal Department’s intranet site content.
- Assist in implementing new contracts policies and procedures.
- Train and educate BeiGene internal clients on the use of contract templates, relevant legal issues, and good contracting practices.
- Assist in implementing and managing contract management tools/system and other technology adopted by the Legal Department.
- Serve as a liaison with outside counsel, as requested.
- Conduct research, as needed.
- Work with outside counsel and manage vendors as requested.
- Generate reports, presentations, spreadsheets, memos and other documents for the Legal and Compliance Department, internal/external clients and/or the senior management team, as requested.
- Complete special projects as requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have managerial responsibility or budgetary discretion.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, CTMS and CMS/similar system

Other Qualifications:

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work across time zones.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate, as well as to work independently, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of professionalism.
- Highly effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience advising on statutes, regulations, guidance documents, and ethical standards governing the pharmaceutical industry.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information using discretion and judgment.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and be reliable and responsive.
- Ability to be flexible and willing to accept new responsibilities as needed
- Fluency in English is required.

Travel: Up to 20-30%
