Domestic Staff

**Gross monthly salary**: CHF 3,467 - Convert to other currencies

**Approx net weekly salary**: CHF 487 - Convert to other currencies

**Minimum age**: 21

Responsibilities of domestic staff are varied, including basic food preparation, food service, laundry, clearing snow and cleaning the facilities on a daily basis. With considerable client contact, domestic staff are expected to maintain very high standards of appearance and must be patient and flexible at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English
- Experience of domestic and/or catering work an advantage
- Adaptable, trustworthy, patient and presentable

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Participate in and contribute to the compulsory training and assessment period
- Prepare the chalet/hotel facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintain the cleanliness throughout the season
- Prepare and maintain guest and staff bedrooms and other facilities, as required
- Prepare the dining room and serve each meal, as required
- Assist in food preparation, dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, as required
- Take responsibility (serving, cleaning, cash reporting, etc.) for the bar/tuck shop, as required
- Carry out laundry, as required
- Clear snow, as required
- Be a role model to the children, acting responsibly and in a caring manner at all times
- Show understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultural backgrounds within the children, school chaperones and Viamonde staff
