Quality Inspector

**Job Description Summary**: Join our team in Birr as a Quality Inspector.

As the HGP Production Quality Inspector you will support the HGP manufacturing team as responsible quality person in the area of machining and assembly. The HGP Production Quality Inspector ensures the required quality standards are consistently maintained; conducts quality assurance audits; monitors and records results from the processes and procedures within the HGP new production. You will have a central role in ensuring all quality and test documentation are controlled and tracked to perform proper root cause analysis and quality investigations if needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform quality inspection of HGP components in machining and assembly
- Identify deviations based on specification and drawings; issue NCR and follow till closure
- Issue final COC and update relevant systems (SAP)
- Actively manage the quality in HGP machining and assembly production
- Conduct internal audit as per audit planning and ensure that open actions are properly closed
- Ensure that process is under control, initiate potential process improvements and work in cooperation with HGP team and CI team to implement potential improvements
- Ensures that all quality relevant production documentation is properly tracked and stored to track any future quality issues that might arise
- Track and log all non-conformances so reporting and analysis can be conducted
- Manage PowerNow NCRs, FIORI NCRs, SAP and related RCAs in cooperation with HGP production and engineering team
- Maintain and keep all records in designated filing systems
- Maintain and update input for Quality and Engineering team to perform proper analysis
- Perform any special assignments assigned by the Quality leader to support the business

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education) or relevant apprenticeship with a few years professional experience
- Strong oral and written communications skills both in German and English
- Experience in manufacturing Quality Control environment
- Certificate on quality assurance is a plus
- Experience supporting quality inspections
- Certificate on lead auditor is a plus
- SAP /PMX advanced knowledge
- MS office proficiency; Excel intermediate to expert proficiency
