**About Koa**

Koa Switzerland AG is a Swiss-Ghanaian startup in its growth phase, active in the field of cocoa fruit processing in West Africa. As the first and so far, the only company in the world, Koa is processing the fresh cocoa fruit in cooperation with smallholders in rural Ghana. Through Koa’s activities, the farmers increase their income significantly and upcycle an additional 40% of the cocoa pulp. As a B Corp, Koa is convinced that doing business can only be successful when taking care of people, planet and profit.

As a B2B player, Koa is offering its cocoa fruit products as ingredients to the food & beverage industry across Europe as well as the food service segment, with a strong presence in the Swiss market. Koa opened this year Africa’s largest cocoa fruit factory and now amplifies its sales and marketing activities across the European continent.

**Your Mission**

Your key responsibilities will be:
**Product & Application Concept Development** which includes:
**Customer Collaboration & Technical Support **which includes:

- Support the sales team through dedicated technical support in managing customers all the way from targeting to technical after-sales support

**Product Marketing **which includes:

- Manage the product portfolio in line with our company strategy as well as customer needs
- Develop market insights as the basis for internal decision-making

**Your profile**
- You are outgoing, interactive, and love to work on the intersection between people, products, and various departments
- You are fascinated by the emotional, and technical sides of food products as well as their promotion
- You are eager to understand consumer motivation and translate these insights into winning concepts for Koa and our customers
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in marketing, business administration with a focus on marketing, or an equivalent academic qualification in food science or innovation
- You are self-driven, motivated, and persistent with an ambitious mindset and desire to create
- You are willing to travel and possess a valid driver license, you manage all modern IT tools with ease and get excited about using the latest tech development
- You are based in Zurich or willing to relocate and have a valid residence permit in Switzerland or are in possession of a citizenship which is part of the Schengen Agreement
- You are fluent in German and English or French is a plus

Our European Office is located in the heart of Zurich, and in Ghana, our team operates two production sites with thousands of farmers - but if needed, they are just a video call away.
