**Technical Writer | 80-100% | St. Gallen, Switzerland**:
**What's the weather like tomorrow? ️**

How much energy will my solar power plant generate this week? Is this flight path safe and efficient? Will there be enough rain to water my crops? As the weather affects many industries' performance, businesses keep a close eye on what's happening in the skies.

At **Meteomatics**, we're a team of proud nerds who deliver the most accurate weather data to **over 400 companies and research institutions **worldwide, helping them accelerate the energy transition, reduce the business’ impact on the environment, and make products and services safer for society.

**Your responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and product managers to gather information and understand technical concepts
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and troubleshooting guides
- Translate complex technical information into clear and concise language that is accessible to both technical and non-technical users
- Conduct research and gather information from experts to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Continuously update and improve existing documentation based on user feedback and new product features
- Organize and structure documentation effectively, following established style guides and standards

**Your qualifications**
- At least Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software or technology-related industry
- Proficiency in organizing and presenting complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and concepts
- Experience with graphic design and visual communication is a plus
