Strategic Client Management Advisor

Reporting directly to the Private Banking Chairman, EFG International, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the different activities within Strategic Client Management, an initiative aimed at our global top client segment of UHNWIs and prospects.
The main objectives are to support Client Relationship Officers (CROs) in growing and broadening existing UHNW relationships and attracting new UHNW clients.
You will also support the PB Chairman in leading the Top Deal Team (TDT) which focuses on the Group’s largest clients transactions, working closely with the Head of Business Development and the Private Banking Chief Operating Officer.
You will work with other members of TDT, especially Wealth Planning, Wealth Solutions and Credit Structuring, liaising with CROs, Heads of Private Banking, Regional Business Heads, GBC and the Board of Directors to develop business with the top client segment.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Establish business development plans for each top client/prospect together with CROs; assessing how best to strengthen the relationship, which additional services to offer and how to involve specialists and senior leadership to realise full potential;
- Maintain an informative template for each client showing background, existing activity and future aspirations, to facilitate meaningful senior level contact;
- Co-ordinate plans to strengthen connectivity of top management and Board members with top clients;
- Work with Investment Solutions, Compliance Product and Regional Management to help them to identify, design and deliver services relevant to this client segment;
- Global and regional client and wealth band analysis including product mixes; helping to determine the top clients and prospects in coordination with CEO and the Region Heads;
- Conduct account/client reviews and deep dives with the focus to support CROs enhancing client intelligence and an ongoing monitoring of client asset movements and transactions.
**Skills and experience**:
- University degree or comparable qualification;
- Broad knowledge of financial markets, investment & lending products and services;
- Minimum 5 years in investment advisory, portfolio management, Wealth Planning, Credit and Lending (or similar), in a Private Banking or Investment Management environment, including Business Management functions;
- Able to establish good working relationships with CROs and senior leaders within EFG;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German, French and/or any other language is a plus;
- Entrepreneurial thinking, persuasiveness and ability to work under pressure;
- Results oriented with ability to proactively and independently overcome barriers to business;
- Solid skills in Project Management.
