**External Inovation and Partnering Leader, EMEA (M/F/d)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Search, identify and deliver external innovation for the Category Co-development of external Innovation Strategy for the Category (with GCTs, CIDs and TIDs)
- Understand Category, Consumer and Innovation trends to initiate, develop and deliver mid-long term external innovation for the Categories
- Surveillance of emerging technologies that could impact existing brands
- Execute the external innovation process based on the want/find/get/manage approach (or similar)
- Support BD&L/M&A/Procurement to acquire rights to opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships for innovation with external parties, including the evaluation of in-licensing and acquisition opportunities
- Play a key role in understanding the local/regional/category ecosystem and partners who operationally or strategically contribute to reach the pipeline goals Managed, design, organize and co-ordinate events with local ecosystem partners / co-ordinate our presence at regionally based major innovation events

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Background in Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry or Personal Care equivalent area (e.g. dermatology) matching one of the following descriptions: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of twelve years’ proven experience, or master’s degree with a minimum of eight years’ proven experience, or Ph.D. with a minimum of six years’ proven experience
- Experience supporting successful brands (global brand experience) is preferred
- Experience to include outstanding portfolio of product development in the Personal Care space
- Experience to include innovation and technology evaluation / due diligence
- Demonstrable experience in successful open innovation processes from brief, search, find and acquisition phases
- Demonstrated experience in technology surveillance building technology ecosystems that describe the relationship between the technology, supplier, developer, and clinical testing
- Demonstrated ability to work credibly across technical and commercial disciplines and influence those colleagues and stakeholders not in direct line of management
- Strong presentation skills that can communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage powerful external technology partnerships
